Maintaining Faith In God As An Ex-JW
by pronomono inas i fade further from the jws, i'm finding it increasingly hard to maintain faith in god.
i've been exploring many alternatives from atheism, agnostic, apathetic, pagan, and satanism (not devil worship, but the promotion of self-indulgence) to name a few.
i'm thoroughly intrigued to learn how those of you who remained christian managed to maintain your faith in god and christ, especially after enduring all the lies that we've been told about them.

jgnat...but this site contains so many stories...it doesnt need to look outside....and all outside books are " money, pride, ego" ...lets learn from the " bad spellers" the heartfelt stories of the faceless posters who have come and gone...

.What this place is depends on the poster....most posters are genuine...some stay.......some go....we all leave eventually.... this place remains...and is needed as long as places like the W.T have a place in society....

why i left the witnesses..
by new hope and happiness ini have recently been thinking about this as it was a big life changing decision.
only now do i realize it wasnt about doctrine.. the reason was because i wasnt happy and didnt respect the elders and the congregation was made up of unhappy people.. i was always being lectured for being happy.
when i had a study that came to the meeting i thought thats a good thing, and i was happy.

Agree on the way out....but knowing the " truth" and leaving the " truth"...some times we leave in our hearts, but our hrats are still with those within...
......so back to my earlier post and what is happening in my ex congregation.
Maybe its not your way, but its a shade of grey and ...i think its a good way?
